The Southern Chiefs’ Organization (SCO) is the new owner of the Hudson’s Bay Building downtown, now calling it Wehwehneh Bahgahkinahgohn. Plans to revitalize the building include the creation of more than 300 affordable housing units for families and post-secondary students, assisted living units for First Nations Elders, a museum and gallery celebrating First Nations culture, two restaurants, a health and healing centre, rooftop garden and governance house.
